Hello from True West!
We had our usual fun up at the Iron Horse Saloon in Fitchburg, Mass last Friday night. The band was cookin', we had a lot of friends in the audience, and we met a slew of new folks. Patty runs a great room there with everyone welcome and really nice staff. Can't wait to get back to Airport Road!
We've got a weekend off for a change, a chance to recharge our batteries and reconnect. We'll start back next week learning some new tunes to spring on you next time we see you. We have a backlog of tunes that we all want to do. Hopefully, one of these new tunes will be one of your favorites. How about that? What's one of your favorites that you'd like to hear?
The weekend after, with renewed vigor, we hit the road again with stops in North Andover and Waltham. The Camelot Sports Pub has a loyal hometown crowd and they love country. That Friday, May 25th will be our second time back but they really made us feel at home in our debut a month or so ago. Plenty of parking and very friendly audience and staff. Check it out!
If we say Waltham, do you think Franco's? We do and we will be there on Saturday, May 26th braced for another legendary event. We really enjoy it there although you never know what's going to happen. It could be quiet until 11p and then it blows up or it could be packed from the start. We always rock it (maybe too loud sometimes) but everyone gets into it and we have to be careful that the roof doesn't blow off. But, that's what makes it fun.
We'd love to see you come out to see and hear us wherever we may be. Support live local music! You win, we win. Thanks!
