We finished our demo! After hanging out at Living Sound Entertainment in Allston
on and off for a couple of weeks, we came away with a bunch of new friends and experiences, plus four songs to show off our talents.

A shot of Laura putting down the scratch vocal on Perfect Love, a Trisha Yearwood song.
As with all the songs on this page, Laura sang the lead vocal part. On this one, everyone
sang harmony...there's a nice contrapuntal part near the end of the song...listen for it! John's playing the solo on his trusty Stratocaster.

Next up is I Can't Be Bothered. This song is a more traditional sounding
country swing tune. Miranda Lambert had a hit with it in 2005. As soon as Laura heard it she knew it was perfect for the band, and we all fell in
love with it right away!
Here's a shot of JD digging in...

Jim recorded the bass tracks right in the control room at LSE...we played all the rhythm tracks as a band. You can hear his
toneful playing on Squeezin' The Love Outa You.

Occasionally we'd let Mike out of the drum booth to reassure him we hadn't left for lunch without him...
Where Would You Be is a cover of a Martina McBride ballad and shows of Laura's skills.

We had a great time in the studio: we were well take care of by Atsushi and Baruk. Jaw Maran engineered, and John Kelly produced.
